Music Directors...
First, we want to say a special “Thank You” to Larry Thibodeau for his great charity in helping bring music to the Mass while we searched for a music director. His sacrificing of his time for our Parish is what followers of Christ are made of. The good news is Larry will be playing at the 4 PM Mass on Saturday and will still be selling Real Estate! (I know a shameless plug, but he deserves it)
Secondly, we are pleased to announce we have hired a new, full-time music director for St. Matthew’s. Alice Bucca will join us and lead the choir in singing and praise. Alice will join us this month and begin preparing our parish for a new music Ministry. God is smiling upon us as rumor has it, a youth choir may be in the workings. Please make her feel at home and show her the love and grace in welcoming her to our humble Church.

My music philosophy as a Church musician has always been to not be a "performer ",but rather to inspire the congregation to join in the singing, so as for them to get more out of the liturgical service...to not be entertained, but to be participants.
