BLAZE: A Ministry for Tween & Teen Girls

St Matthew Parish is proud to offer a new ministry hosted by Walking with Purpose: BLAZE.

BLAZE is the Walking with Purpose ministry for girls in 6-9th grade. The mission of BLAZE is to use Scripture to speak truth into the hearts of young girls who are bombarded by lies about their true worth and beauty.

Girls in their tween/teen years are filled with questions. They have doubts, they desire clarification, and they want to share their thoughts in a space that will allow them to make their relationship with God meaningful. Sign up your 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grade daughter for BLAZE.

The first of eleven biweekly sessions will start at the end of September. Each session, participants will be led through an ice breaker activity, worship & praise music, and a short lesson based on a lie found in the world and a truth found in Scripture.

Reserve Tuesday, September 20th through Tuesday, March 7th, from 7-8:30p. Registration and permission slip forms will be available soon! ($65/per girl, includes snacks, refreshments, a craft, 11-week study, and lots more!)
