Windham Knights of Columbus Raise Funds for St Francis of Assisi School

On July 13, 2022, the Knights of Columbus Windham Council 7572 presented a check for $15,000 to Saint Francis of Assisi School in Litchfield.

This donation will allow the school to purchase new playground equipment and refurbish the play area. Saint Francis of Assisi School is at capacity, so this expansion and development is greatly needed.

This project, which was presented to the Council by Brother Knight John DeAngelo, will continue this fall, when the Council will also contribute their time to paint, repair, and landscape the current playground. The project should be complete by the end of September.

Saint Francis School, along with many other Catholic schools in New Hampshire, has seen a resurgence of popularity in recent years, due to school choice and a desire to learn in a Catholic environment.
