Call to Prayer & Fasting on Friday, May 13: USCCB Requests for Life

Last week’s leaked draft opinion of the Supreme Court case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization brought about both praise and ire from respective anti-abortion and pro-abortion advocates throughout the country. Unfortunately, some pro-abortion supporters have threatened, protested, and called for violence against Catholic churches, Masses, and faithful, as well against crisis-pregnancy centers and certain Supreme Court justices.

In response to this, U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has asked that Catholics in America “join us in fasting and praying the Rosary on Friday, May 13, the Memorial of Our Lady of Fatima.” Prayer intentions should include: the protection of all human life, overturning Roe v. Wade, and the conversion of those who support and advocate for abortion.

Please read the USCCB’s entire statement and join your Catholic sisters and brothers on Friday to pray for the end of legalized abortion in America.
