  • Eucharistic adoration

St. Matthew is blessed to have a Perpetual Adoration Chapel, located right in our church. Come, spend time with our Lord, Jesus. Ponder in silence and listen for God’s whisper. We welcome you to pray at any time, but we invite you to commit to one hour each week and become part of Team Adoration. Please email Cathy Girata or call (603.260.4803) for more information.

Learn about Eucharistic adoration in this video, ‘What Do We Do in Adoration?’ by Ascension.

  • prayer group for human dignity

We gather together each week to pray that all human life will be respected, loved, and protected, from the moment of conception until natural death. We pray for the conversion of minds and hearts so that all will know the truth that every human life is valuable and worth living.

The Prayer Group for Human Dignity meets every Tuesday after 8:30a Mass (just after 9a) in the church. Prayers and petitions are followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary with life-affirming meditations. Those who wish can also stay for a short video and group discussion in the parish center afterward. Please call Kathleen Garon (978.482.5380) for more information.

“A great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world. Through special initiatives and in daily prayer may an impassioned plea rise to God, the Creator and lover of life, from every Christian community.”

    - St. John Paul II, The Gospel of Life

  • Divine Mercy chaplet team

The Divine Mercy Chaplet Team ministers through prayer to the sick and dying. The first name of anyone who is anointed, who is very sick or whose death is imminent is relayed to the Team so that each member can pray a Chaplet on the behalf of the infirmed. This ministry is open to all. To join the Team or simply learn how to pray the Chaplet, please call the parish office at 603.893.3336.

Jesus revealed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy to St. Faustina Kowalska and asked her to pray the Chaplet unceasingly. Jesus told Sr. Faustina: Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this Chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy. I desire that the whole world know My infinite mercy. I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in my mercy. (Diary, 687)

  • men of St. Joseph

The Men of St. Joseph are a group of men committed to living a life of conversion, integrity, and honesty, acting as a witness for Jesus Christ in daily life, work, social, parish and family settings. The men of this ministry aim to emulate St. Joseph and become better husbands, fathers, sons, and brothers.

The Men of St. Joseph have no dues and do not participate in projects or other volunteer efforts as a group; instead, we gather together for sharing among men to help each of us become a better person, a better family man, and a better member of the Church.

Join us on the second Saturday of the month from 7:30-8:30a upstairs in the parish hall. For more information, please email Aaron.
